Education is Power

Education is Power.... So Power Up!

Dr. T has developed 2 programs each with the same goal of increasing academic achievement. The Dr. T's Character Curriculum  program and the Education is POWER! assembly program feature the following elements:

The Education is POWER! program is a live stage show/assembly program. The program contains music and humorous skits that encourage students to prepare for the future, limit screen time, show respect to others, be responsible by fulfilling our obligations and being responsible for our own actions, take care of the environment, and to stand up to bullies by being confident in ourselves.

A very special feature of the Education is POWER! program is designed to engage
high school students.

The high schoolers will be trained to:

  • perform the show
  • set up and run the audio/visual/lighting components
  • run, book and manage the implementation of the assemblies
  • This training gives them experience for their possible future employment
  • It can also be applied to graduation requirements to provide community service
  • All of these programs can be an outgrowth of the current programs in theater, business and other related subject areas.
  • This program can be run as extensions of existing programs NOT requiring additional capital expenditures
  • It can also be a way of getting sponsorship by community groups and businesses.
